Cramps

I started having cramps overnight Monday. By last night, I'd taken IB Prophen and slept with my heating pad. Is anyone else having cramps? I'm 4w4d. No bleeding or spotting. My first appt isn't til the end of the month but daddy is getting worried and I'm wondering if we should go ahead in to the doctor for a visit.

Cramps are fairly normal during early pregnancy. Anything severe should be looked at though.

That being said, ibuprofen is generally not considered safe during pregnancy. I would refrain from taking any more until you talk to you OB.

Cramps I think are pretty normal, so no worries mama! Definitely avoid the ibuprofen, you should be able to take tylenol although not sure if they will help with cramps.

Oh, i didn't think about IB not being safe. Thank you. The cramps don't have me doubling over but definitely WAY worse than PMS cramps. This is my first pregnancy.

I had lots of cramping when I was pregnant with DS. It's totally normal. And you're definitely not supposed to take ibprofin. Tylenol is okay to take but idk if it would help with the cramping.
