Help!! 6 week old not sleeping during the day

Hello ladies, anyone have any advice for a 6 week old not sleeping during the day very much? For the last 2 weeks my baby girl barely sleeps during the day and when she does its only for maybe 15 to 20 min at a time every few hours maybe. I've tried rocking her and bringing her into a dark quiet room and she just fights sleep till she crashes in the afternoon. Help! Idk what else to do or who to ask.

    My 6 week old has also been doing that this week. She'll take maybe 3 20-30 minute naps and one two hour nap and that's it between 7am and 10pm. I'm hoping it's a leap or growth spurt and it will pass because she's so overtired by nighttime that all she does is scream.

    There is a 6 week growth spurt that messes everything up. Try a swing, wearing her, the car seat, RnP, whatever you can to get her to sleep. Also, it's important not to miss the tired cues.

    The tired cues are key. As soon as my LO touches his eyes the first time, or I notice that his eyelids are getting red, I put him right to sleep. If you can catch them before they get overtired, it makes a huge difference.

    I bought the munchkin sound machine sold at Walmart and have it on the white noise and swaddled my baby girl. Start laying you baby down before their completely asleep so they can get that deep sleep they need. It's all trial and error. My baby also loves to be carried in the carrier. Also if you have an exercise ball try holding your baby in the upright position and holding them close and gently bouncing it mimics being in your belly and puts them fast to sleep
