My twins are a month old tomorrow and do not sleep well at all. I'm probably averaging 4 hours of sleep day. They are constantly hungry and I'm breastfeeding. We have started supplementing formula because I honestly cannot keep up. I need rest so my husband feeds them in the evenings. We just started the formula today but they still only slept a few hours this evening. They have not slept through the night yet at all. Is this normal? I feed them both on demand and try to keep on the same schedule. It's difficult because they don't always sleep at the same time. any advice ?
Re: Twins 4 weeks
First off, kudos to you for handling newborn twins, that is amazing and difficult and it sounds like you and your DH are doing a great job. Breastfeeding them even a little is great and having your DH feed them in the evenings is a good idea so you can get some rest.
It does get easier eventually, hang in there.
