How long did use guys wait for ultrasound??

    My Dr. does not do dating ultrasounds or ultrasounds in the office so last time my first was my NT scan at 12 weeks.  It will likely be the same this time as well.  Kind of sucks, she also will not check for a heartbeat with the doppler until past 12 weeks as well, since it can be hard to find heartbeat that little and she doesn't want to worry moms.

    Last time around my OB did a dating ultra sound at my 8w appt. We also were able to see the heartbeat at that time as well! We only received one more ultra sound for the anatomy scan at 20 weeks.

    My OB does an ultrasound for everyone @ 6 weeks which is awesome. Last time I was a bit early - 5w5d - to see anything, so we did another one at 6w5d and saw the heartbeat then. That was 4 years ago though, so I don't know if their policy is the same.

    My OB ordered a dating US after my 1st appointment last time, so I'm hoping for the same. It would be around 7 weeks.
