UPDATE in OP: Water broke, now we wait

Well, that was a looonnnnggg journey, but after 13 hours of labor plus nearly another four hours of pushing and 2nd degree tear, Tom is here weighing 8 lbs 5 oz. He had to have oxygen for about an hour after delivery duentonse nasal flaring, but other than that he has been great. After being told a few times that he may end with a cSection, it was somewhat satisfying to have a VB. He is nursing well and is very alert.


Water broke at 12:30 and I was unsure that's what happened. Then I had contractions every 3-5 minutes for an hour. Husband got antsy so now we are at the hospital waiting on dilation.
