Stay home mum

I've been home with bub for 13w 2 days, I'm loving it but haven't been out much as Bub and I are adjusting, he was a colic baby etc. Hubby things staying home has changed me and that I'm going a lil insane. Apparently everytime he wants to go out (even to the shops) I put an attitıde on...

Re: Stay home mum

  • My baby went through the same thing with the colic and I never really went out when my daughter was first born I just stayed home all day but that made me cranky...I can relate to you although I'm back at work. I suggest you go out with baby. Go shopping, the park, visit family just you and baby and try to adjust to being outside with the baby so when it's time for you and hubby to go out alone you will be use to the outdoors again and hopefully won't have attitude. You might just enjoy having some alone time with your partner

  • I'm a stay at home mom and I went through the whole colic thing with my little man as well. Just mentioning going out to eat with our little guy made me anxious bc the evenings were the worst. Luckily he is over the colic now. I make sure I try to go out a few times a week whether it's going for a walk with my baby or running errands. Also, my husband works from home in our small house so that's another challenge. I usually also go spend a night or two during the week visiting with my parents who live an hour away. They live near the beach so getting out and being able to enjoy the summer has been great for my sanity.

Just some advice to all mom's if you have a baby bath tub you can bring that sucker to the beach and set it up under an umbrella with some water in it. I do this with my son and he loves it. That way we both get to enjoy the beach. I also bring it out on our deck in the shade and we hang out in the fresh air. He splashes around while I lay next to him on my towel enjoying the sun and reading to him or playing in the water with him.
