I am so tired from doing nothing. Today I went to my classroom and unpacked 3 boxes I feel like I ran 5 miles and I am exausted. Anyone have any tips to beat the exaustion?
I have cut out caffeine so maybe that is contributing to it.
Do you exercise regularly? If not, this is a good time to start nice and easy. Should help you feel more energized if it isn't something you have already been doing.

I exercise regularly and usually run a few times a week. Although I haven't had much energy to do more than walk the dog about a mile. Hopefully it's just the caffeine withdrawal and I'll feel better soon.
With my first, I was so tired all the time for weeks...even with exercise and naps. I just had to wait it out and listen to my body. Though naps were awesome. I've already taken a couple this go around too.
Same here. I was on the couch most of the day and still feel, exhausted. I also can't take the summer heat like I normally can and it makes me feel worse. I like to take a couple walks each day and drink lots of water and that helps a little. It's a lot of work growing a human!

I've been getting bone tired lately right around my son's nap. I usually fight myself and do a workout while he sleeps (I really want to nap, but it it's less than an hour I just get cranky..) and feel a million times better. The caffeine withdraw is REAL though, and rough.
Hi! I am a teacher as well, and expecting our first baby 4/9! So excited! I also am gearing up for the new school year and went to a training today and came home EXHAUSTED School hasn't even started yet...ha!
SO exhausted everyday. I get home from preschool around 2:30 and am out for several hours. I can't seem to shake this exhaustion. Any ideas on how to feel more energized would be amazing!
I'm tired from growing a human and chasing around a toddler who never sleeps - she woke up for the day at 0230 today, had a two hour nap during the day and didn't go to sleep again until 2200 tonight. These kids are stealing my life source!
I have been extra lazy lately too, I usually get up with my husband, share a smoothie, then go back to bed. But sometimes like today I just slept right through til 9, snoozed til 10. Good thing I'm not working right now!
I had no idea how much I was relying on caffeine to get me through work and chasing around a 2.5 year old till I found out I was pregnant with this one. Now when I put my daughter down for a nap or bedtime I usually fall asleep before she does
I'm tired today but I think that's due to not sleeping well last night. Last time exhaustion hit hard around 8 weeks and didn't let up until 16 or so. Just rest and try and get through it best you can
With my first I was dog tired from 5 weeks on.... to the point that when we moved (at 13 weeks), I asked them to unload the bed first so I could take a nap! This time around I am tired as well, and now have a teething 18 mo running around! Thankfully she naps so 2 hrs still and I can sleep too.
Hang in there! My fatigue miraculously disappears around 15/16 weeks and I feel so good that I could forget I was pregnant... until about 34 weeks .
Yes my 2 1/2 year old has been sick this week and I have been getting home late from work so its been less than 5 hrs sleep each of the last 3 nights on top of the exhaustion, I called off work today so he could stay home but I also fell asleep (in and out for an hour!) watching a movie with him and then napped some during his nap. I have so worried about him this week that I haven't even realized how much my constant exhaustion was being added to.
Sooo tired. I had to stay home with my 4 year old yesterday because he was sick the day before at daycare. It rained, so we watched movies and he played in the living room all day. I got up from the couch sparingly. He went down for a nap and I was just dozing off when he woke up. When DH got home, I went upstairs, played on the laptop in bed, and went to sleep at about 8pm. And I'm still tired. lol

EXHAUSTED. I've worked eleven hour shifts the last two days and i've taken naps at my lunchbreaks both days and been barely able to get up afterwards, and today i took a nap in my car after work before i could drive home. Usually I can do a solid 12 hours of heavy lifting without a break but this is kicking my butt Taking NO MORE OVERTIME THIS WEEK, that's for sure.
So tired! I've also come down with a cold which isn't helping at ALL. I feel like I could sleep all night and all day. I've been going to bed earlier, waking up earlier, and I've definitely had a few naps here and there. I feel like I can't catch up on sleep.
