TTC for 9 months after miscarriage 1 year ago

Hi everyone,

This is my first time really using these community boards on the bump, but I feel I am at the point that I need to look for support :) My husband and I have been TTC since last December (we are in our 9th month of trying). Before that, I experience a 'missed miscarriage' at 13 weeks and had a D&C procedure done. That was my first pregnancy so I can't help but worry something may be wrong. I am so overwhelmed with anxiety and stress it's unbearable at times. We are going to our first fertility clinic appointment this week to make sure everything is okay (or if it's not, to come up with a plan). I wanted to reach out to this community to see if anyone has words of advice or has experienced something similar. I think like most women that are TTC you feel like everyone around you is posting baby bump photos to social media, announcing pregnancies and I feel like every other weekend I attend a baby shower, plus all of my close girlfriends seem to get pregnant so easily! (Which I am so happy for them but I can't help but feel sad when I hear all about their pregnancy symptoms or new babies).

Any advice or support you have would be so great :)

    Hello, I am so very sorry for your loss. Many of us here are also ttcal (ttc after loss) and can definitely relate.
    It's a very scary journey, that's for sure!

    You should come over to the loss board and the ttcal board too for even more support :)
