can't stop itching at 37 weeks

Last night I woke up to very painful cramping as soon as I sat up I starting vomiting, I threw up 4 times in an hour. (sorry it's nasty tmi) This morning I woke up to my eyes, face, ears and hands itching like crazy. I've been sick to my stomach all day barley keeping food down and the itching won't stop. Hubby called L&D told them about the sickness and itching..they said "we advise you to stay home and try to keep food down." So no help from them.. My Dr isn't the best ever I have found out but to far along to change OB so I'm dealing with him the best way I can but I can't get ahold of him on call. Does anyone have a clue what could cause all this... It's miserable!!

You should go into to L&D if it is still bad. They won't turn you away then!! Good luck.

I would go to l&D. Severe itching in pregnancy could be a sign of cholestasis, which is dangerous for you baby. I would get it checked out

Definitely get checked out. Whether it's by your dr or if you have to go to the ER. Good luck!

Thank yall for replying. I called my OB and kept being told it's normal to itch during pregnancy. I've developed a sore throat and a very high fever..my husband and I are hospital bound. A mother knows when something's isn't right and that's how I feel.
