21w 6d short term disability?

Hey guys. So I'm teeter tottering on the 22w mark and I'm having problems with this pregnancy. Extreme hip and leg pain & my work requires me to be on my feet all 8 hrs of work. I woke up this morning and my legs just about gave out on me. Thought it would subside by now but still going strong. I've missed days of work due to issues earlier on with bleeding and cramping. Is short term disability the answer? I see my Dr. in the AM. Anyone currently on STD?

    I'm a contractor so it didn't apply to me, but it's definitely a medical condition. Do you have a good, cautious doctor? If so, then they should have no problem putting you on temporary disability. Take care of yourself and that baby!
