any oldies but goodies out there?

I'm about to embark on this process, I'm 46 and hopefully not too late. Did most of my diagnostics and w be ready after my laproscopy....

    @pmakrillos - I'm 42, and at the rate my RA specialist is going (nothing in the natural world is slower than my doctor, I swear) I may not even be able to do my first IUI until I'm 43. The best advice I can offer? STAY AWAY FROM THE INTERNET!!! OMG, every time I go on some pregnancy blog or TTC article I'm bombarded with "facts" about how hard it is to conceive in your 40's. How is this helpful?? It's so important when you're on this journey to stay positive, remain hopeful.... they sure make it hard to do! But it happens all the time - you hear stories sometimes about women who get knocked up in their 50's, for heavens sake, so the only "fact" is that you just don't know until you try. :) GOOD LUCK! I'm rooting for you, sister!

    10/26/15 - IUI #2 (100mg Clomid + Ovidrel) - BFN
    11/21/15 - IUI #3 (100mg Clomid + Ovidrel) - BFN
    12/18/15 - IUI #4 (100mg Clomid + Ovidrel) - BFN

    Thanks all! I realize every case is different and individual but I'm the type of personality that needs to know as much of what might happen to try and make my most optimal choice now...don't forget time is not on my side...each and every experience I read helps me stay more informed. ..I hope to share what I learn and experience with all here.

    Good luck ladies. I'm 41 and I've heard it all about age & fertility so I'm trying very hard to stop reading everything online. My first cycle was last month and I only had ONE egg that made it to fertilization but died on the 6th day. I got very depressed and I can't seem to get out of that funk. We're trying it again this month and I started Clomid yesterday. I hope everyone here gets their rainbow soon :)
    TTC for Baby #1 for 3 years. After 2 failed IUI's & IVFs, God blessed us with our miracle :).  FET 12/17/15 (transferred 2 embryos at 5days). First Beta 12/29/15 = 354. Second Beta 12/31/15 = 694. Third Beta 1/7/16 = 6,695.  Finally heard his heartbeat (126)  on 1/14/16 @ our 1st US.  2nd US on 1/21/16, HR was 159.  The most beautiful sound ever :)
