Nervous appointment today

I had a routine OB visit today and it took the nurse about 5 minutes locate the baby's heartbeat. Turns out he/she is still very low and was moving away from the Doppler, but I'm not gonna lie, that was a scary 5 mins. I'm scared every time until I hear that heartbeat. It's so much harder this time, because DS was always right there on top like "here I am!"

On the bright side, anatomy ultrasound in 2 weeks! Everyone else doing well? Any doctor woes?

    At my last visit it took awhile to get her heartbeat and i started to get scared too. The anatomy scan is in 3 weeks and i cant wait! I think its the first visit they aren't drawing blood at too! #score imso happy w my doc and the office/nurses

    With my first they could never find her heartbeat so I can relate to that nervous feeling! This baby is much more cooperative! Phew! Good luck

    I always have a mixture of excitement and fear before an appointment. Every second it takes to locate the heartbeat feels like eternity!

    I do like my doc, unfortunately we've moved since my last baby and the hospital they use is too far away. Going to have to switch soon, after the anatomy scan. They're going to rec someone for me, though.

    I had this exact thing this morning too. The nurse tried to track her down but we only got a couple of seconds and the nurse finally said that, we heard it and its strong but that we all we were going to get today.

    I always listen with my heart Doppler right before an appointment so I can be a little more calm while they look. Lol!
