I'm putting together a collage and I've been digging through old pictures. I thought it would be fun to share pictures from when our littles ones were born.

The last one was my last birth. I had no clean matching linens since we were so unprepared and all of my pictures from right after have this mix of ill fitting sheets. Lol.
Here is our pic of my baby girl and me the day after she was born. (That's a look of trying to grasp the enormity of love that comes with having a child.)
I love that gaze we get when our babies are finally born. I have so many pictures where I'm just looking down totally amazed by my new little human. Each and every time it's thesame overwhelming love.
The first two are my daughter. She had trouble breathing when she was first born (scariest two minutes of my life!) so this was when they finally gave her to me. Then our first night together. The third is my son on his birthday. Little chunkster.
Great idea!! Dd1 was born September 12, 2013. The first is when she was 3/4 weeks old and the second she was 1 day.
@smlowe9311, my DD was due September 5, 2013, but I ended up going into labor at 38w4d and she was born on week 39. We must've been on a similar track last time and the stars aligned again! It's so much nicer to know that we'll be "big, big" pregnant in September/October rather than the heat of August!!
@eat111315, those two sweeties are adorable. I can't imagine having that experience right when our LOs are born, and I am so happy that your DD is okay! There is so much uncertainty throughout pregnancy and birth, and it's so good to hear (and see!) the positive outcomes!
@komorebi, I love your pics! This was a great thread idea. It makes me teary just thinking about those moments when we first meet our LOs. Nothing compares, absolutely nothing!
We don't have any pics from when she was actually born, but here's our little Auli when we got home four hours later. She had these sweet little elf ears. She didn't even have eyebrows yet (she was 10 days early), and had the sweetest lanugo and milia. I made sure to capture a pic of both so I'd never forget (third pic).
ETA: @smlowe9311 my little girl was born Sept 14, 2013.
@amberrmariee20, he is perfect! My daughter was a shorty and still is. Your son has some good size to him! Maybe a future athlete
He's gonna be a big boy ! He's tall now, and weighs 42 lbs, he will be 4 in September, he lost all his chubbiness though ! I think you may be right with being an athlete he has a good throw for baseball, he can throw better then me no joke. Your daughter is gorgeous also. She looks so content and the hair on her wow !!
Oh my. I love all of these photos! Makes me cry! I'm such a blubbery emotional mess this morning. I'm a FTM so I obviously don't have any birth photos yet, but I just had to say that everyone's photos are beautiful. I cannot wait to hold my child for the first time. :x
O'15 September Siggy Challenge -- Third Trimester Woes
All of these pictures are absolutely beautiful! It reminds me how worth it all these aches and pains will be when she's born... I cannot imagine what the love must feel like when you finally see your baby. I'm totally going to bawl my eyes out once i leave work and put my sunglasses on!
