The perfect labor and delivery but postpartum hemorrhage

My water broke exactly at 39 weeks yesterday. I had a peaceful labor and delivery. I mean it was incredible. I felt great right after....until 8 hours after delivery when I went to the bathroom and started passing huge clots and excessively bleeding. It was very scary. We aren't out of the woods yet but I'm trying to stay positive. Thank god we have a mellow, beautiful baby boy.

I experienced the same thing with my first delivery. Hemorrhaged and lost 4 units of blood and had to get a blood transfusion. Thoughts and prayers to you, and speedy recovery

Thanks ladies. Clots stopped, honestly bleeding is almost non existent abs feeling much better. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. I truly believe prayer is a powerful thing. Good luck to you all. I hope you all have peacefully quick deliveries like I did, without the difficulties after.

I had something similar happen, it was like I lost all the blood and clots that you normally lose over the course of the first week all at once. Caused a huge drop in blood pressure and I passed out! I have bled very little since and I'm 9 days pp. Hope you feel better soon!
