I've been spotting for about a week now(around week 14). Went to the doctor as soon as it started and everything was fine. It's still freaking me out a bit though. Anyone else have this happen?
I had it happen a few times during the pregnancy. It scared me a lot the first time (5w) but anytime after that I just had to relax and kind of ignore it. If your OB isn't worried by it and it doesn't get heavy or accompanied by severe cramps, it's fine. It's probably hard to ignore but you have to trust the process.
Not personally, but my midwives say it's common as long as it's not enough to fill a pad or accompanied by cramping. A lot of ladies on here have had it, if you search spotting in the search bar you'll see how common it is. Just let your doctor know what's going on and keep them updated it they want to see you again
Could it be the normal time for your period? I read that some women will spot every month around the time they would normally have their period. Its considered normal.
I spotted with DS and spot with this one, too. It's definitely nerve racking, but common for some of us. Sucks! I use the Doppler on those days to reassure myself.
Yep. I have had lots of spotting on and off with this pregnancy and one bout of heavy bleeding. I understand how hard it is to relax when it's happening. Just try and stay in touch with your OB and call to let them know whenever it happens so that they can advise you appropriately. A doppler is definitely good for peace of mind if you don't have on already.
Thank you!! Definitely puts my mind at ease. I kind of lost track of when my period was supposed to come. It's not enough to fill a pad or anything like that, just similar to end/beginning of period. I believe I will definitely invest in a Doppler!! Xoxo
