how many weeks before your due date will ypu have your baby shower

I want mine to be September 5 because im going to be induced around the end of September. Due to my boyfriends parents rent being due that week they want us to wait till the 19th (2 weeks later) I think thats cutting it pretty close though what do you guys think

That is pretty close! My baby shower is 7 weeks before hand and I'm afraid I'll be exhausted then as I'm already pooped all the time. Then I'll still have to finish up his room and getting the things we need.

Are they hosting/throwing the shower? If they are then unfortunately you'll have to wait until their finances allow it.

I'm having three showers. One on hubs side, one on my side and one at work. I'll be 30, 31 and 34 weeks respectively.

I'm due October 6th so based on that due date I'll be 36 weeks & 4 days. However, he's been measuring close to my original due date which is September 29th which would put me closer to 38 weeks... I'm nervous, I didn't want it that late but hubby & I are buying a bassinet, already have some things (due to amazing sales) & have Amazon prime for last minute things in the event he comes early. But I am almost 31 weeks and I'm exhausted and hot... I'll be boring at my shower, I already know it lol especially, with these aches and swollen feet lol

I will be 33 weeks at mine. My in laws wanted it in October because they are going out of town for a wedding in September. But we settled on having it earlier in the month before they leave. I am so relieved because I didn't want it to be cutting it close. Both my mom & my husband's mom went into labor the day of their baby shower. I don't want history repeating itself!
If possible, would they be willing to have it earlier than planned instead of later?

I'm due on October 11th but everyone I encounter seems convinced I won't make it that long..... however, 3 showers are being hosted for us, we had 1 at 28 weeks, and 2 at 34 weeks!

I'm due 10/14 and I'm 29 weeks and I had mine yesterday. Between vacations, back to school and family in from Italy it was the only day that worked.

I'm due on Oct 17 and we had our first shower this weekend (just a small one -- and the best part was I found out my friend has been keeping a little secret of her own! She's 17 weeks pregnant!!). Our 2nd, bigger shower is on Aug. 22. We are having ours early since travel is difficult, and I'm sure will only get more difficult as the due date approaches.

I'm having mine this weekend (a sprinkle), I'll be 30 weeks. I think having a shower a couple of weeks before you're going to be induced is too close. You really won't have much time to wash, organize and figure out what you're missing.

Mine will be 5 weeks before my due date. It feels like a stretch and we'll be scrambling to get what's left. I'd be pulling my hair out if I only had 2. Best of luck to you and enjoy it!

I have 3 showers. My due date is October 12th and my showers are at weeks 31,32,33. All back to back.

I think that's cutting it a bit close, but if it's for financial reasons then I can understand wanting to wait.

I'm due on the 8th. My aunt and gramma have offered to throw me my shower, however, my cousin is getting married on August 15th, and so I have to wait until after then. I'm considering getting a few of the rough details done before then so they don't feel as stressed about planning the shower as they are planning this wedding. Nothing major. Getting the invite list together, and a few ideas for location and food.

I'm scheduled for c section on Oct 6, my shower is Sept 20. I originally wanted to do it at least 4 weeks before , but the person hosting said the 20th was the day she could do it so... I'll be crunched for time getting last minute things before the baby.

Mine are the last weekend in August and the second week of September. I'll be 34 and 36 weeks at the time. It's a bit late for my taste-- I'm afraid I'll go early and have to reschedule the shower. Of course, this didn't come to mind until my SIL mentioned that it happened to her with her first son, who was 6 weeks early.

I am due 10/5 and my shower is August 23. I will be 34 weeks. I am so anxious to start setting up the nursery. I have to wait u till that week to even start to paint bc my SIL and her kids are not moving out u till that week... I'm secretly starting to freak out bc there is SO much to do to get my house ready....

I'm due October 20th and will be having my shower October 3rd. Its the only date that worked. I was nervous at first and I guess I still am a little but I will have the necessities and bigger items by then so I will be relaxing by that time anyway
