Alright, this may be a weird post but here goes. I keep debating weather or not I want to keep growing my hair long, it's a little past my shoulders now or cut it shorter so it will be easier to maintain for when baby is here. Yes, I know this isn't a life or death question but I'm bored and curious what other people think. So, the question is...what is better: shorter or longer, or does it really matter to you? Having a hard time deciding what I want to do since there are benefits to both. Long, I can throw it up in a bun, short, it doesn't take as long to dry/straighten. Opinions please!
When I say short, I mean above the shoulders but not anything above the chin.
Re: Mom haircut
I cut my hair with my first soo short (first time ever) I have always had long hair. I hated it and it took so long to grow back.. I love my long hair.. And it's staying. I just throw it up if in hot!
I've personally got quite short hair which is super easy to style/dry off - all depends on how much maintenance you want to commit to!
But, I get different hair cuts all the time because its fun. So, you know, you do you.
But I don't think you need a "mom" hair cut just because you're a mom. Keep your hair however you like it.
Hubby has always said he would leave me if i chopped my hair off. While i know he wouldn't, that just lets me know he wouldn't find me as physically appealing, and I'm a fan of him thinking I'm hot, cuz that man is sexy as hell. He takes care of himself for me. And it makes me want to return the favor. I already feel completely gross with my extra 38 lbs, i need to feel desirable in SOME way
Do what you feel is best. A trim is always nice.
When I think of bringing baby home and adjusting to a different life, I want to be as comfortable as possible. Even if hair grows, I wouldn't feel comfortable in my skin if I don't like my hair. Call me vain.
And like everyone else said, enjoy your long think hair while it lasts. Pretty soon it'll be falling out by the handful.

If you're bored and looking for a change then maybe it's time for a new color? That's always fun!!
