my little girl is 10 days old, and we are so lucky she is an amazing baby. Only cries when hungry or wants a nappy change, and happily stays awake while we do things around the house.
In saying this she just can't seem to bring up wind. We burp between feeding and after feeding, and it's very rare to get a burp. We can see she's uncomfortable, but are at a loss as to how to help her.
Any tips please??
Re: Wind troubles?
I also agree with PP, doing bicycles with her legs can push out some gas. How are you burping her now? You can Google different positions.
Edited to add: he also recommended that we hold her upright for 20 - 30 min. After she eats.
Anyways OP have you tried mylicon? Works wonders! If she's not burping during feedings, try putting it straight in her bottle at each or everyother feeding, or as needed straight in her mouth.
Does she spit up a lot?
No she hardly spits up, just gets hiccups from drinking too fast Hahahaha.
Will also try the bicycle legs on her next feed. Thank you for all the advice ladies, and tough If some don't like the word wind
