I am 35 weeks now and I sleep ok during the night (just get up 2 or 3 times to pee) but during the day I need to take 1 or 2 naps. I get very sleepy, am I the only one?
Nope! I was just thinking the other day that since I fell pregnant I've pretty much had at least a two hour nap every day! Obviously minus the odd day here or there where I was out and about and couldn't lol
I sleep like crud at night but can sleep in like its no big deal. Today I didn't get up until 10:30 since the kids are gone. If I would have woke up early I would try to get a nap in.
I go back and forth between being able to sleep at night and getting nothing. I need naps too. I could take one every day but I don't always get the option. Nothing wrong with being tired. It's a lot of work to make a baby.
I would love a nap every single day. Unfortunately it never happens, even on the weekends. I have been going to bed earlier each night which has helped a little. I'm looking forward to maternity leave when DH is at work and DS1 is at daycare, and I can sleep when baby sleeps. [-O<
I can't go to sleep, I've been staying awake until 2-3 every night. Probably because my body has realized that trying to sleep is pointless since I have to pee every 1.5 hour anyway. Finally I fall asleep but I still get up to pee. I wake up for good by 6 because the boys are so loud. I'm seriously sleep deprived but there's not a chance for a nap with three active boys. Hopefully the baby won't wake up as often as I have to pee!!
Ugh i wish i had the opportunity to nap during the day! I work 9-10 hrs a day, with 4 hrs of commuting a day (2 hrs each way). Longggg days for this pregnant mama! Needless to say, i have no trouble sleeping at night haha
You're definitely not alone. I feel like fatigue is back in full force. I don't really wake up at night but I still find myself extremely tired during the day. I'll sleep for 8 hours at night and still end up taking a 2 or 3 hour nap during the day.
I get up to pee every hour to two hours, and get 4-6 hours of sleep somewhere between midnight and 6. I get a morning nap most of the time when DH goes to work, 1-2.5 hours somewhere between 8 and noon, sometimes with an extra nap 1-2.5 hours somewhere between 2:30 and 6...so especially sleepy days I get about 10.5 hours.
But with all the starting and stopping and getting up to pee I feel like I may not actually lose my mind when the baby makes his appearance.
I tend to stay up late (as does my fiance) so we don't get to bed until about 2am but then if no one wakes me I'll sleep until 3 in the afternoon! Then by 9 or so I'm already tired and just want to sit. It's a little nuts.
