    I am also 34 about to be 35 in 14 days. I have been on BC pills for 6 years just stopped 3 months ago. My husband kept pressuring me to have a baby. I wasn't ready so i told him i would do a blood test to see if i can wait for another year. Turned out i have extremely low AMH (0.41) which means i'm almost out of eggs!! So suddenly i became super ready. Got a ovulation kit from store to make sure i get a peak since all websites seem to gave me a different day for ovulation. Now we'll see :)) Good luck to everyone TTC!!

    I'm a 34 year old first time ttc as well!! Looks like there are a bunch of us in the same boat! I've never had my eggs tested - do you think I should? I have a yearly check up at the gyn tomorrow - is that something I should be asking for?

    35th birthday is approaching in days and it just hit me because of some other things going on in my life and with my health.  Nothing too serious, but I will be going to get a physical and have had some conversations with both of my parents in the last few days about my grandparents health history.  It's definitely become a little more real for sure in the last 48 hours.  Hoping that none of us are here too terribly long and good luck to all!!

    @lilacsun80- what is an AMH  test and what type of dr did this? I'll be going to my primary care dr for my physical in a few days. I definitely want to have this checked! I already saw my GYN earlier in the year because it was around the time my annual was due anyways but this was not discussed but my age did come up.

    Hey! I'm also 34 and TTC for the first time. Right now I'm dealing with 40 day cycles after getting off the pill 4 months ago, which is a bit frustrating. Just ordered my Basal thermometer, and I'm currently reading TCOYF, so hopefully I can start making sense of things. Excited to be here! :-h
