Any of you ladies work in child or family psychology? Having some troubles with our niece and need some advice. We had her seeing a behavior specialist until last May (2014) but she was not right for her. She was diagnosed about a year ago with Reactive Attachment Disorder and while I felt like we had a good handle on it, it seems to be slipping (new baby on the way and some issues with her mom's visits, its understandable). No one within a half hour radius of us is taking new patients under my health insurance and with her starting school in a few weeks, its not going to be easy getting her to appointments that are an hour away. Just hoping to have someone's input on how to help handle her stress. I know without meeting and working 1 in 1 its going to be difficult but we are going crazy here not knowing how to help her!

Hopefully someone in here is trained in working with RAD diagnosis...

@ann_jeremiah I am unaware of any social service assistance, but will look into that as well.
Thank you all for you recommendations, I feel like I am getting more places to turn to then I had!
