GTKY- Favorite Verse/Quote

So I'm feeling like the board is a little slow and this is what I came up with...Since we will all be enduring labor & delivery soon, if you haven't already, we will need some encouragement to take along with us. I have personally created verse cards to take along that I'm super excited about! So, post your favorite Bible verse or quote.

I'll go first. My favorite verse is Matthew 5:10. "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven." It reminds me to just keep going even when the trials and opposition come.

I'm having a brain fart when it comes to my favorite verse but my favorite quote is actually a line from an older Rascal flatts song "stand" : "when push comes to shove, you taste what you're made of, you might bend til you break, cause its all you can take, on your knees you look up, decide you've had enough. You get mad, you get strong, wipe your hands, shake it off, then you stand."

My favorite quote is from a Garth Brooks song. "There's bound to be rough waters, and I know I'll take some falls. But with the Good Lord as my captain, I can make it through them all."

I saw this poem by the Afghan poet Rumi when I was in the thick of post natal depression two years ago, and I thought it was beautiful and so true.

The Guest House

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
