Do you really need to bring baby clothes to the hospital? ?

Im expecting #4 soon. And Im seeing on a lot of FB pages that newborns are wearing baby clothes brought from home while in the hospital. Is this necessary? Last I remembered that they had clothes there, little shirts or gowns for the babies untill you are ready to ho home.

    The hospital supplied my baby with plain white tees and a onesie to wear while we stayed. I used them and only changed her into the clothes we brought when we left.

    When my son was born, the hospital provided long sleeve kimono style onesies, sized 6 months. My son was 20 inches long and 6 pounds 1 ounce. Next time, I'll bring my own in both newborn and 0-3 month sizes.
