Support for head and neck in car seat?

Is there anything I can use in the car seat to help support my LO's head and neck? I'm reading a lot about kiddos cutting off their air ways due to how they sit in their car seats.

    We roll up an extra blanket and make it into a U shape to arc around his head. He's too small for the padded head holder thing in his car seat and the extra blanket does a good job preventing his head from flopping over.

    Roll up a couple receiving blankets and put them on either side of his head-not around the top. Any other aftermarket products are considered unsafe.

    Make sure his straps are tight, the car seat is installed at the correct angle, and his chest clip is at nipple level.
