  I don't have any experience with this, but just thought I'd let you know I'll be sending positive thoughts your way! Try not too worry to much, easier said than done- I know! If you weren't charting, it is very likely you ovulated later than you thought you did and just aren't as far along as you thought.

  I'm in a semi similar boat. I don't know the answers though. I found out I was pregnant with #2 on July 13th and assumed it was from 6/11 or 6/18 possible conception dates. So when I went to the dr on 7/22 I expected to see a 7-8 week baby. Well, the dr appt didn't go well. The sac measured that and there was a yolk sac but the inside was blurry. We couldn't make things out! It stressed me for sure and the dr said she wants me to come back 8/5 to re check. So I'm in limbo - she said it could be too early and our dates were wrong and come back to a healthy step Nite, sweet dreams! Heartbeat and baby or mc. I've had 2 mc before I had my son (who is now 1 years old) and I'm very nauseas fatigued and feel pregnant for sure. I am really hoping it's just weird and confusing but all healthy and ok. I took my hormone blood test this morning and return for another on Monday. I'm hoping to see it double - but again the mystery is that the sac measured larger. I be ever heard of that. Looked up blighted ovium? And if I ovulated twice? And ? Idk. But I hope it's not going to end in another sad mc. I know whatever is meant to be will be but I feel so normal pregnant and very nauseated so I'm surprised to have had such a weird appointment! I haven't found anyone yet who has gone through this. Thinking positively for us both and I'd love to share updates once we both have follow ups!

  Thoughts are with you @kingsmama23 This has been so stressful! I'm right there with you, I feel very pregnant! Even more so then with my son! Trying to stay positive and not do to much research cause I've noticed that stresses me out even more!

  Good thoughts and hugs your way. I think this is the reason many doctors will not see you until you are further along. Since it's often so hard to pinpoint the day of conception, it really is hard for even them to determine if everything is developing correctly so early on. If your doc doesn't seem to stressed that is probably a good sign. I hope you can get some good news soon.

  @audriannfrey I agree, my online investigating has only made me feel more confused and stressed. And lots of people share how it didn't work out for them so it doesn't help trying to stay positive. Wishing you all the best and jealous your appt is a week before mine! Lol hard being patient

  I'm sorry you are going through this, it can be so stressful. It could be a blighted ovum or a baby could show up on your next u/s. Time will tell. Hang in there. How many weeks are you now?

  This actually did happen to me. Got a positive pregnancy test toward the end of June, went in to see my doctor July 10 and had an U/S the next day. Well, the doctor told me that according to the due date calculator, I was 8 weeks along but at the U/S all we saw was an empty sac, and the result was that I was only 4 weeks along. The doctor stressed me out by saying, "Well, maybe you ovulated late or the pregnancy isn't viable. Call us if you start bleeding." Just went in for another U/S this weekend, and the baby was there with a heartbeat, and I'm 7 weeks along. So, it is possible that you're just not as far along as you thought! Good luck to you!!

  Thank you! I'm happy that you finally got to see the heartbeats and baby! That's encouraging, I feel great no bleeding or cramping. My doc hasn't given me a edd. First Ultrasound were we saw the sac they said it was to small to measure...second one on Thursday I think he was more concerned that the sac was empty then measuring. We can't go off of my mens cycle cause I'm breastfeeding...so yet another thing that's stresses me out not knowing how far along I am.

  Only 3 more days @audriannfrey ! Let us know. As for me ... Ugh. Well the results of my hcg are in and are also basically not informative! How is this possible?? I just have to wait till my 8/5 ultrasound. The hcg increased from Saturday to Monday but only some... 41665 To 48941 and so they said when the numbers are this high it's not necessary to double, so increase is a good sign but doesn't mean anything new concrete and the only thing we can do is wait to see if there is a heartbeat and baby on 8/5. So ... The waiting in limbo continues! No clue why they said i should take this test then. But i guess at least it's better than going down ... Feeling impatient but will continue to think and visualize positively... Prayers to all

  Yea that's what I've heard as well @kingsmama23 that at this stage they just need to be going up! So yay that's great that they are! I'm getting pretty nervous for Friday! I've had 3 ultrasounds already and just want to see my baby! I'm having a lot of nausea and fatigue so as miserable as I am I'm trying to stay positive and think that this is a good sign??!! I'll update you after my appt on Friday!

  I had my bloods come back at 28,820 (nearly the same as yours) and had a scan the next day and they could only see the sac. Fast forward two weeks (this monday just been) and repeat scan shows embryo complete with heartbeat! Dont worry too much about what the numbers are as long as they are rising! Good luck!

  This happened to me....I had an ectopic pregnancy the first time and 6 months later conceived my DD. My HCG levels were through the roof, but for some reason there was just the sac and we all panicked. It turns out they were calculating my conception date wrong and even though my HCG levels were high, I wasn't as far along as they thought. Like clairemwalker, I went back 2 weeks later and there she was. Sending good thoughts to you!!!

  *following up* Had my dr appt today. For me it turned out my cycle lmp was not indicating anything proper timing wise. Because now I'm 8 weeks and they found a heartbeat! So it turned out okay. They confusion in the beginning was because it was just too early and all our date guesses were wrong. Hopefully that's the same for each of you! Relieved to hear this news today ...
