Wiggly, noisy babes

I know this has been discussed... But I'm seriously in awe at how loud and wiggly LO sleeps.. Yes sleeps, he makes more noise asleep than he does awake ... Either grunting, crying, or just being a wiggle worm but he's totally asleep! We've had to move him into our room into a pack n play because the monitor is so loud from his room and picks up EVERYTHING! Other stories ?

Ours is similar. Ours wiggles nonstop when awake as well.....my mil keeps commenting on it. Well lady he likes to grunt and move..... Can't do much about it !!! This is also why I turn the monitor waaay down and so I only hear the very loud screams. What brand monitor do you have?

My kid KICKS. While awake he kicks a lot, while on the boob he kicks and I end up taking a boot to my other boob, while he is asleep he kicks, and most importantly, when he is going to sleep he kicks. Its this last that is most damning (tho a forceful kick to the boob that just finished feeding and thus is still a little tender isn't all that great either). Each kick as he is down and falling asleep wakes him up incrementally. And the more he begins to wake up, the more he will kick. Its a fine dance to get him to the edge of sleep but not totally asleep when I put him down for the night, cause I have to adjust for him to wake back up some, but hopefully not too much. I honestly don't know how it doesn't wake him when he is sleeping. Makes me wish I could strap his legs down. Well, not really. But, you know, kinda

Mine is a wiggle worm too and super loud while sleeping. She also kicks/pumps her legs while sleeping, doesn't wake her up but she's definitely doing it to fart or poop

LO only is super noisy when she's fighting gas. But DS is STILL a noisy, squirmy sleeper. He also had no problems sleeping in the most awkward positions in his crib. He's slightly better now, but still makes lots of noise. He also talks in his sleep which is entertaining now that he has a vocabulary. He's a sleep walker too.

^^^ My 3 year doesn't talk in his sleep but he laughs! Big huge laughs. LO is a wiggler too but mostly he just has to sleep with his arms above his head. Touchdown! He should be 6'2" +, he might need a custom bed if he keeps it up.

@klkonwi we have the v tech video monitor, that's a good idea I could try turning it way down... It's suppose to not pick up every noise, as I can here it "turn on" so to say when he's grunting or crying

My LO is a wiggle worm too. She's always turning her head from side to side, sticking out her butt or trying to inch herself into a different sleeping position and the only time she isn't moving around is when she's found an incredibly awkward or unsafe looking position to sleep in.
Because DH works over night, I typically just have LO sleep in bed with me. She always starts out on my chest and by morning I've always woken up and put her on her designated part of the bed because her wiggling has gotten to be uncomfortable.
Fortunately she's not a noisy sleeper and saves her weird baby goat grunts for awake time.
