Allergies??? Safe Meds?

My allergies are really bothering me! Do you know of any meds that are safe to take while pregnant? Claritin?

Always check with your doctor, but Claritin and benadryl are generally safe during pregnancy.

Clairtin, Zyrtec are safe just not the D kind also you can take benedryl but always call your doctor first.

I'm taking Claritin, again. I have the worst all-year inside/outside allergies!

Anything with Loratadine is fine. I have allergies too and take a Claritin equivalent. I asked my doctor when I had my first pregnancy and he told me it was fine. Hope you'll feel better.

I am dreading the end of August when mine kick up. I usually take Singulair and Flinase, I'm sure I won't be able to take either

I take Singular, Advair, and Zyrtec. My OB was fine with those my last pregnancy and I had no complications.

Thank goodness. I am a everyday allergy med user. Was starting to look at a holistic approach but now that will have to wait. I've been stuffed to the nines since I found out.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and my doctors have been fine with me staying on my zyrtec and singulair for each of them. Although, I've been on both my entire life so perhaps its because my body is use to them. Regardless, I have two very healthy children and another (hopefully healthy one) on the way.

my prescription nasal spray and eye drops were OK to stay on... I changed pills to lortadine and only take when needed now (the other two I need everday!)
