Hello! I am 22 weeks pregnant with a baby girl and my husband and I are stuck on names! We like to use family names when possible. Unfortunately many of our female family names end with an 'a' and I don't want a name that is too rhyme-y. We have a son named Deagan so we'd like something that goes well with that. Thanks for your thoughts!

I like Katrina Elizabeth or Ida Elizabeth. NAF of double first names, and not sure what DeLacy is all about. Ida Mae is cute but maybe a little too country sounding. Katrina got my vote because I think it is a little prettier and more feminine than Ida.
Katrina is the only one that doesn't sound old ladyish to me. Idk about the double first name. I have a friend with the double first name and she always has problems with people and paperwork.

I hate Katrina ever since the hurricane. If you are anywhere near the gulf coast, you might get some negative feelings on that. Can't hear the name without the association. But if you are far removed from that, it is a pretty name.
Is DeLacy a family name? I like Ida. It's underused and classic but the mn choices you listed aren't my favorite. DeLacy would actually flow well with Ida but I wouldn't use it unless it were a family name.
Thanks so much for the opinions! Yes, DeLacy is a family name. It's actually a last name. Katrina is also a family name - my mother and sister are both named Katrina. The hurricane does give me pause about it though.

DeLacy reminds me of a lyric in the Aristocats... hmm.. I'm trying to recall it.
I agree though, Katrina Elizabeth.
