I had my morning coffee already and I fully plan on hitting up Starbucks for a latte once my appt this morning is done. Caffeine limit be darned today.
I was totally set on working until I deliver. Because I'm super women right? At this point I want out. I have an appointment this afternoon to push to go out on disability. Part of me feels bad. The other part of me just wants wants out.
I DESPISE the term "bloody show"... it actually makes me angry when I read it somewhere. Sounds like some ancient way of describing it. Ugh I don't know why it urks me so much.

I had a dream that a really good looking guy was putting the moves on me and it was REALLY hard to resist! Thank God I woke up, or I may have dream-cheated on my Hubby! (And the guilt would have been very real, lol) I've never even THOUGHT about cheating on my husband! What is UP with these prego dreams?!
I have been so patient and calm about baby will come when she wants. Well, i'm 39k2d and freaking ready for my own selfish reasons bc i'm finally very uncomfortable and extremely frustrated at work everyday. I should be so grateful for the smooth pregnancy and I feel a bit guilty posting this because of all the complications other moms have had, but I'm just so ready now and needed to get it off my chest!!

LOL...if there is a Starbucks, you should be able to get it. It is a white chocolate mocha raspberry iced coffee.
I was sitting on the couch this morning watching TV and let some gas slip out (I was alone!). Well, it apparently was loud enough to scare the baby and she jumped and made my whole belly move like she was trying to jump out of my belly. Thanks, baby, for making me self conscious while I'm home "alone" :P

My in laws that are our back up for the kids when I have to go to the hospital since they live in town and know the littles' routine really well. Well, their adult infant son who is 22 and going off to graduate school needs to go out now and they are convoying 2 cars and taking 7 days total (my entire 38th week of pregnancy) to drive him out. This itinerary includes 2 "fun" days. I asked them what they would do if I went into labor right as they were leaving and they just blankly stared at me and my BIL said "but I have to go to school..." X(
Anywho... My FFFC is now I hope that LO comes smack dab in the middle of their trip just out of my current preggie induced spite. I don't want her to come early but they are pissing me off with the aloofness!

Sounds like my husband's family. They all think the baby is coming early because he was born early and so was my BIL. I don't think that makes any difference. I just want to go over my EDD to prove them wrong... guess it's that pregnancy induced spite lol. DH said this morning, "I went pee 5 times from last night til this morning." Uh hello, I've been doing that for nearly the past 6-9 months. And the other one he says that really irks me, "I'm so tired, I need to go to bed earlier." Really!!! Did you know I didn't fall asleep until an hour after you did and then I woke up for two hours and then your alarm started going off so I had to wake up again. I am the tired one Hun.

I had a dream the other night that the "medical society" decided pregnancy should no longer be "40" weeks long...that it needed to be bumped to 51 weeks - the dream felt soo real. WTF
I woke up in the night and told my husband, who is a doctor, that his profession needs to get real and that it must have been a man that decided that. He sat in bed shocked........and then burst out laughing and said "i think you are mixing dreams with reality again babe"
I wanted my baby to come today so it would have a Ruby birthstone. DS is an emerald and peridot doesn't really go well with emeralds. I know worst reason ever.

Good to hear you ladies are still drinking coffee....I was starting to feel bad. Guilty, I have a small iced homemade coffee on the daily.
I bought a box of zebra cakes. Ate 3 packs of them and hid the rest behind stuff in the cabinet so my SO wouldn't find them. I stuffed the empty zebra cake box into an empty cereal box, threw it in the trash and took out the trash. All to hide the evidence. That a lot of work and guilt for some zebra cakes but they were delicious!

DH decided Monday was a great day for him to start a paleo diet but I'll be damned if I'm starting a diet at this point.

DH started a diet last week. He said he wanted me to join him for support and I just laughed.
I am about one minute away from flipping out on some doctors today. Been in the NICU for 26 days now and a couple days ago they told us we'll probably be discharged Saturday they just wanted to watch her desat events. Well she hasn't had any events but we come in today and now it's possible discharge Monday because they want her to gain weight. She has been gaining weight, hasn't lost weight once after she got back to her birth weight. She eats well now on her own and I just don't see how this is something that can't be monitored at home by our pediatrician. And I'm willing to bet Monday will roll around and they'll find another reason to delay discharge. Maybe I'm just being a crazy mom who's sick of being stuck in the NICU but it's driving me insane. Not to mention the hospital is in Philadelphia, an hour and a half away from where we live. Two hours with traffic. And we've been staying around here weeks prior to my delivery due to my high risk pregnancy and needing to deliver here. I am SO beyond ready to go home for good!! Sorry for the long rant lol

My DH is the opposite. He actually BRINGS all kinds of goodies/snacks home to me, and never touches a one of them.... He has admitted that he doesn't necessarily want me to lose this baby weight. He likes the "cuddles"..?! This man is trying to fatten me up!!!:O
Sometimes I make extra noise on purpose when I have to get up in the middle of the night to pee cus I'm so annoyed that DH sleeps like a log while I sleep 3-4 hours a night and then watch our toddler all day...I'm a horrible wife
Things I am totally capable of doing, I act like I can't because I am uncomfortable. Then DH or someone else does said thing for me. ie, cleaning, laundry, walking the dogs. Horrible I know.
