Re: Weekly Check-in 7/26
QOTW: I noticed this week that she has resting B*t*h face like me lol She looks mad but is actually really happy. This is my 6mth old. Of course one of my other daughters also has this trait. The other girls take after their daddy in a lot of things.
My week started out well. I managed to get out in the car with DS sans DH. He whined but I was relieved to find that I could focus on the driving. I also started looking at mom & baby classes for meeting other moms.
I'm stressed right now though because I'm being dragged into some family drama. In short: 1.didn't invite bro & SIL, 2.they bought air tickets without clearing the dates with us, 3.their arrival is on my birthday that they didn't realize, (I went along to get along to this point) 4.Bro sends a birthday 'wish-list' for SIL, which I ignore due to a prior gift-giving truce on my side of the family 5.my parents call to tell me they ordered flowers for SIL in my name, asking me to play along if she asks.
So, I'm expecting fireworks this coming week because I'm not going to lie.
QOTW: DS mostly takes after DH, they're both very vocal, high energy, sensitive, and determined.
My LO is still a little to young to really identify any traits. I do love that he's so happy outside, and wants to be moving (bouncing, swinging, etc) constantly. I know those are normal baby things, but ones i hope stay with him, so we can have some fun adventures!
@jerseygirl227 - the hormones are the worst too, hang in there! And so is pumping nothing. Especially when everyone on the bmb seems to have such an overabundance. Been there
QOTW: DD2 is too young, so far she has my blue eyes. DD1 is ALL daddy. I used to hope she would at least have an ear for music like me, she has the rhythm but can't hold a pitch... Maybe it will improve.
All of my in-laws were visiting. I like them but having visitors is just exhausting
QOTW: what is a trait of your own that you recognize in LO? Of your spouse?
DS has my curiosity and stubborness. DH is like that too. DD is really too young to say.
**siggy warning**
