Cramping but not on period

i got the implanon birth control put in my arm about 6 weeks ago. I've basically been bleeding since - contributing to anemia - but now the bleeding has stopped for two days and I have period like cramps.

Has anybody had anything similar? I called my doctor two days ago about the bleeding and they haven't called back yet. I've had the worst experience with my OB while pregnant - and now after. How can it take two days to return a phone call?! /:

    Both are normal. When I got mine in April I bled for 5 weeks and had cramping (which I've never had) but now that I've had it for a few months I bleed 3 light days a month and I love it. It'll get better just give it some time. If the cramps get bad if call again.
