So my brother and sister in law have twins (a boy and girl) who will be 1 shortly before Christmas. She just found out she was pregnant again, which in itself is a lot. Today she went for her first ultrasound, they are having identical twins! Can you imagine having 4 kids under 15 months!!!?? I am freaking out for them. Just had to share a crazy story.
Oh man!!! My cousin has two sets of identical twin girls and two singleton boys in between the girls...and an Aunt with triplets. But back to back twins and so young!!! Whew!!!!
I have a friend who is pregnant with quadruplets right now! For me the hardest part to imagine is leaving the house with the car seats and the amount of gear you would need. I have never heard of two sets of twins in one family - that is crazy!
Yikes. I mean, I cried for myself having three at once. But that's going to be tough. I'm sure they will have lots and lots of happiness and their kids will be best buds! (I can't imagine having more kids after multiples. DH and I are both going to knock out the baby making gear immediately after birth.)
My SO's sisters have all twins. One sister has one set of twin boys (fraternal) and the other sister has 2 sets of twins 16 months apart(one fraternal and one identical)! It's insanity. And to top it off, one of the identical boys has special needs. The first thing we asked at our first Us was how many we have (just one!) We joke that we're never going to get any help or sympathy bc we only have one! His mom had never seen a singleton us!
That gives me the shakes. I've known a couple people like that. They release 2 eggs and the Drs have pretty much told them to expect twins again if they try to conceive. Ahhhh!!!
