Going Home Outfit

What outfit Ideas have you guys come up with? Pictures? I'm struggling with this one, too many cute things, but don't want to over do it. FTM, can you tell? ;-)

    My mom was obsessed with what our little one was wearing home. She was insistent that we pick out something cute because tons of pictures were going to be taken. So my husband and I opted for this, so he'll be formal for the occasion.

    I have been looking and it is hard because there are so many cute things to choose from but we won't buy anything until we get closer... maybe try something personalized from Etsy.

    We don't have a going home outfit yet. We don't know what we are having so I plan to get a girl and boy outfit!

    We don't do the pictures the hospital provides, so we don't bring anything "fancy."

    Our littles have always come home in footie pajamas. Our son came home in the footie pajama my husband wore home from the hospital. This little guy will come home in the same thing as his brother and dad.

    Planning a homebirth, so no 'coming home' outfit per se, but we have a couple onesie outfits from Carters that baby will wear first.

    My mom saved the outfit I was brought home in 43 years ago.  I used the same outfit to bring my daughter home (minus the bloomers as they were designed for different kinds of diapers back then).  Everyone loved the idea.  Also brought her home in a handmade crocheted sweater that my grandmother made.

    We bought a gender neutral onesie with Tigger on it and different balloons and kites for DD, we're using it again for our DS.

    We bought ours as a gift for a friend but didn't realize it was a newborn size. Their son was too big for it. So, we kept it thinking someone else would have a baby soon. Didn't know it would be us! Hopefully our baby girl will fit into it!

    I have little footie jammies with tiny pink flamingos on them if she's wee little. If she's a chunker I have a little blue striped dress with pink anchors on it.
