I think it's nice to remind ourselves what our husband's our doing right! I know they drive us crazy, but in their own little way, they show their sweet side.

This can be a place for us to share those cute/sweet things they do for us!

Today we were at the zoo and my husband just walked up behind me and started rubbing my lower back. It was like heaven!

Then we got home and we were cleaning out our laundry room. He started spraying the cleaner and he said I should maybe leave. He didn't want me to breathe in the fumes. I almost started crying at this gesture!

I had been craving chocolate (which almost never happens) and casually mentioned it. On his way home from work he bought mini eclairs (and not knowing if they would satisfy the chocolate craving he lso beought home a candy bar...) enough chocolate to last a week...and so I woke up to that yesterday morning

DH has been absolutely fantastic! As a first time mom I had no idea the exhaustion was going to hit me so hard. Now, he'll insist/suggest I take a nice mid day nap.

He wants to make sure I get plenty of rest. And he also won't let me pick up or pull on anything "too heavy". He's the best!

DH will be on the road traveling over 6 hours just to come home. I hate his job but it pays the bills. He also drove the same 6 hours each way just to come home for my birthday on Monday.

Mine has been good about realizing once I'm curled up on the couch with a blanket, the day is done. We usually walk the dog together at night but if I'm already in sleep mode, he just takes him out for me.

Also I was seriously craving BK chicken nuggets and BBQ sauce so he went after work (at 9:30 PM) to go get them for me. I was a very happy girl!

Before my DH went to work this morning he came in while I was still sleeping and whispered in my ear " You are the best wife ever and you are giving me the most incredible gift I could ever ask for! I love you so much!" Sheesh talk about happy tears! I think he is definitely a keeper! ;;)

Last night after I went to bed super early as usual, I rolled over and woke up for a second to see DH quietly watching videos on his phone. He leaned over and kissed me even though neither of us are very big on affection. For us, that's a big deal and made me feel very loved and thought about. Smooches!

My husband has been pretty great with helping with our son after work - he has a physically demanding job but he's been willing to take him disc golfing/to the park with his friends if I wanted to nap or just clean the house in peace.

He's also been pretty great with cooking supper when I have been too sick to this trimester, although I have been able to cook regularly the last 2 weeks almost but he still cooked me some delicious steak last night!

I have nothing bad to say about my H during all of this. He's been absolutely amazing. The cat puked all over the floor a few weeks ago and as soon as the cat was done, H walked in from cutting the grass as I was getting some paper towels and as sweaty, hot, and out of breath as he was, he immediately took the paper towels and grabbed the cleaner because he didn't want me breathing in the fumes.

He's also endured eating pizza multiple nights a week when it's the only thing I can eat, done all the food prep, and makes sure I'm not hungry or thirsty among many other things.

My husband made homemade lemon blueberry pancakes and froze them. He is gone for the next month for work so I opened the freezer I almost cried. Set me up for a delicious breakfast. Love that man.

First trimester totally kicked my ass and H has been taking on home improvement jobs and he and his mom have been deep cleaning the house. I feel like a bum just laying on the couch or napping while they do it but I am so grateful that they are understanding. Now that I'm feeling a little better I'm trying to pick up my slack.

Also, fruit seems to be the only thing I can keep down so he has been buying all these amazing fruits and making a weekly fruit salad for me to snack on. I love him so much

Yesterday afternoon while watching TV I fell asleep and had a wonderful nap! I told H I was sorry that I was so tired and he replied that I need to take a nap whenever I feel like it because he understands that being pregnant is tough.

Everyday H calls me on his way home and asks if I need him to stop anywhere to pick up anything that I'm craving.
He totally becomes a mean murse and makes sure that I'm drinking enough fluids, eating enough food, etc
Doesn't get on my case too much about the lack of chores I've been doing around the house and how much I've been sleeping...

Yesterday he took me to the walk in clinic to FINALLY get antibiotics for the cough I have had for 8 weeks. (I had a viral upper respriatory flu, but it appears to have turned into an acute sinus infection. I'm 12 hours in on the antibiotics and can't wait for them to work.) I've been coughing so hard that my back hurts and I cough to the point of heaving, and lets not even talk about peeing my pants. Thank God hubby insisted on taking me in!

We were able to leave DS with a friend today to go to my OB appointment. It took a really long time to find the heartbeat but she found it! When we were done, DH thanked her for trying so hard to find it and said we were so happy to hear it. I love how he treats people, including me!

Why is McD's coke so much better than other places. I really like their ice, so I think that makes a difference, but I also suspect they lace it with crack. I'm like 73% sure of that.

My current gratitude goes to DH working from home today so I wouldn't be lonely cooped up in the house on my freebie day off (I'm the biggest baby ever, yes.). He even blocked off two hours so we could go running together. Just hope he doesn't get any flack from colleagues because of it.

H took a long walk with me and is now baking cookies to take on our road trip tomorrow. The cookie ingredients include chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, oatmeal, pretzels, and potato chips. Never had these before, but I'm glad he got the baking bug!

So true!! My SO said "can we just go to the gas station?" NO! McDonald's fountain coke is completely different!

Omg I want some BWWs now!!
My hubby has 0 time this month because it's blueberry season so he's basically gone from 6am-10pm or midnight mon-sat. But on Sunday's he lets me sleep in, makes breakfast, and takes care of DD. it's so amazing and I always feel 100% afterwards.
If he gets out halfway early I hope I can confince him to get a root beer float cause I've been wanting one all week. BWWs would be even better but I doubt he'll drive there
