Induction Question

tomorrow I will be 2 days past my dd, I will be getting induced at 41 and 1 if I don't go into labor on my own, they told me they were going to do with IV. What are your induction stories?? I'm terrified of being induced

    I was induced at 42+1 with the gel they insert (can't think of the name right now) and within 2 hours my contractions started and went from 3 min apart to pretty much on top of each other in about 10 min...got back to the hospital at around 730 and she was born at 1002...contractions were painful but I had all back labour. Once I started pushing it was relief from the back pain. Not as scary as I was expecting, had a great overal experience!

    I asked to be induced with my second and third baby due them being big babies. I didn't want a c-section and I wanted to make sure the baby could fit when I delivered. It was amazing for me personally. Each delivery was only 2-3 hours and I didn't have any pain meds. I got it through the IV. I have heard horrible induction stories but my experience was the extreme opposite.

    I had the worst induction! After going from contractions being 3 minutes apart to no break at all. Then they decided to stop the Iv after a couple hours. Then decided to start it all again! (Even the doctor was confused about why they stopped the drip) Safe to say after 29 hours of labour I was exhausted!!
