My son is 4 months today and is exclusively breast fed and eats every two hours and still wakes up every two hours to eat at night and it's so hard to get him back to sleep and in his bed
Mine will be 4 months next week. During the day he eats every two hours (sometimes he'll go 3, sometimes it'll be an hour and a half). At night he'll usually do anywhere from 4-6 hour stretches. It varies though. There's still nights he'll be eating every two hours. I just go with what he needs.
Mine is 3 months & 1 week. He eats every 1.5-3 hours during the day (usually every two). He started sleeping through the night again from about 8:30pm to 6:00am. Then he usually eats & goes back down for another 2-3 hours. However, last night he got up once at 3am. He is not a good napper though. He usually clusters still before going to bed, which I think helps to get the longer sleep stretch.
Do you think he's just trying to pacify himself? Will he take a paci? I hope you can get some sleep soon!
My breastfed twins eat every 2 1/2-3 hrs during the day. Then at night eat at 9:30pm, go to sleep & get up anywhere between 5:30&7am for their next feeding
This is good to see! Mines almost 3.5 mo and still every 2 hrs during day--you can set your watch to it, the boy is a stickler for his schedule!! We've been curious though because he's gone from 3 to now 4 oz a feeding but same time in between, we thought he might space it out being more full, but not happening. Good stretches in the night usually, we've even had s few almost 8 hr blocks, but always every 2 once he's woken up which is usually 3am
