I'm sick of fruit, nuts & crackers and they don't fill me up. I'm literally hungry every 30 mins. What are you all eating/snacking on? Need to try something new.
I love cheese. I put it in everything and eat it by itself and it is so so good. It fills me up better than any other snack. Plus, I'm lactose intolerant so it doesn't back me up. Lol.
I just upped my protein intake because I think I was a little low. Protein bars, cheese, peanut butter, hummus and vegetables help ward off my hunger. I am finding that I need a bedtime snack of fruit and protein or a bowl of cereal or I wake up starving. TMI, but I am really starting to have problems with constipation, so I am trying to not consume so much dairy. Ugh.

How is low protein recognizable? What did you look for that led you to believe you were?
I second all the peanut butter posts, I especially love dipping apples in it! Can't get enough! Sadly I cut cheese out of my diet because of BM issues.
Right now I can't get enough cereal. Specifically cinnamon toast crunch. It's been waking me up in the middle of the night cause I want it.
That's my favorite cereal at the moment too!!! And I went to have a bowl last night and DH ATE IT ALL!!! I was mad... I settled for Frosted Flakes. I'm loving my carbs of course... And cheese... Cheese on carbs and milk... I'm still a Mac and cheese fanatic. Chocolate milk is amazing too.

I just wondered (I was anemic last pregnancy, and have been very hungry lately) and realized the recommendation is 80-120 g. Per day in pregnancy. I do not eat nearly that normally.
Protein snacks like peanut butter, hummus, cheese, eggs, even protein bars help. It def keeps me satisfied for longer. I also make sure to eat cheese right before bed so I don't wake up starving! I hate waking up to pee in the night I don't want to wake up starving too ugh!

Interesting. I've upped my protein intake but I bet not to that amount. I am starving all the time, good excuse to eat more protein which happens to be in all the best foods
My midwife told me yesterday I should be adding a little protein to every meal/snack. She said that's best for mom/baby during this time. Just thought i'd pass along.
Quest protein bars (chocolate chip cookie dough) are high in protein and fiber. Love them. I also have whey protein with milk every morning. Definitely getting protein helps me feel full longer, though it certainly hasn't cut my craving for brownies...
My latest filling snack craze has been Greek yogurt with blueberries, nuts or cereal, chia seeds, and/or honey. I also agree to the peanut butter and cheese. I can't stop!
I have juice and water before I eat, but sadly Velveeta shells and cheese with real pieces of broccoli mixed in does the trick for me. That and Pizza.....
Peanut butter (or any kind of nut butter) by the spoonful. I started doing this because my food aversions have made me almost completely raw vegan and I'm not getting enough protein by a long shot. And i'm feeling it. So I slam back a few spoonfuls of peanut butter and i feel a lot better.

EDIT for quote fail---------------------
Frequent hunger is a sign you're not getting enough protein, but recommendation for pregnancy is 80-110g per day.
