Good Morning everyone how is this week treating you all? Please sure this thread to post anything you'd like to share about your journey thus far with your multiples pregnancy. Please let us know how far along you are as well and when you are due.
I'm 15 weeks and 2 days and babies are the size of navel oranges. Boy and girl fraternal twins. Super excited. I worked out this morning so I'm happy about that. Trying to get back into a routine. I mostly walk on my incline trainer for about 45 mins to an hour most mornings. It helps burns some of the calories I'm putting in my body when I eat really unhealthy food. Plus it gives me a little energy for the day.
My calorie intake has slowed down a bit. I'm not eating as often as I was before. Or maybe it's staying the same because I'm eating less often but when I eat the portions are larger. Idk but I am glad that feeling of not needing to eat every 2 hours has passed.
My back is hurting me. The lower right side. Not sure what that's about but maybe because I work a desk job.
My face has broken out which sucks because I was so happy about how clear and glowy my skin was for such a long time. Hopefully it passes. I've been using a pregnancy pillow which is amazing! it helps to have something to snuggle with since hubby isn't home :-(
Babies are moving up closer to my belly button instead of way down in the pelvic area. My next dr appointment is on Aug 10th. I stil haven't announced on FB but plan to on our wedding anniversary which is Sept 8th. Still a while to go but most people who I've wanted to know, know.

Re: Multiples Check in January 28th - Concerns, Questions, Opinions, Issues, Symptoms, etc.
I'm finally starting to look more pregnant and less "fat," but the round ligament pains... oh my! None of my new mom or currently pregnant friends get it - TWO babies in ONE uterus!
We've started talking to them more and husband plays guitar to my belly every night before bed - it's very sweet how excited he is. These are our first and we couldn't be happier to be having twins.
In a few more weeks we'll get to find out the sex(es), and I'm dying to know! I have a feeling they're boy/girl... but time will tell!
Hooray for second trimester!
This is my first time posting on the multiples board!
I'm having twins January 2nd, but the midwife told me to expect them at Christmas! Listened to the heartbeats yesterday, and did genetic testing, so hoping to find out the sex soon!
Today is the first day in 7 weeks that I haven't thrown up! I'm hoping tomorrow will be the same!
I am huge, and I can feel the babies kicking constantly! My husband can even feel them! I told the midwife this, and she said she wasn't surprised because the little ones are so active!
It's nice to finally join the multiples group!
I'm super excited to start feeling them moving in there then I think my anxiety will decrease! My next appointments on the 10th of Aug as well! It looks like we all are due around the same time! A couple more weeks and we will find out what these little squirts sexes are! I can not wait! I just want to go shopping already!
I am thankful to have found this group and look forward to many more posts from everyone!
My first cervix and growth scan is in 2 weeks, and then I'm basically on at two week rotation at the MFM until 22 then we will see.
We haven't announced officially though a lot of people know. Maybe next week.
We find out the sex of our di/di twins in less than a week!! Eek! So excited. I've been listening to their heartbeats on my Doppler frequently and have just now started to sometimes feel movement.
I've had the WORST headache the last few days
We haven't announced on social media, but all family and close friends know (heck even strangers that see me know I'm pregnant). We will probably announce after our ultrasound next week
I'm finally over the nausea *knock on wood* but I'm already having trouble sleeping at night, which didn't happen until 3rd tri last time. I'm SO tired all the time, but can't sleep. Wtf?!
I'm having mo/di twins so they have their own sac but share a placenta. There are so many risks that come with this, so I'm just taking it day by day and reminding myself that just because there is a risk doesn't mean it's going to happen.
Im currently 17w3d with mo/di identical twins. I'm due jan 3rd but know I will more than likely be celebrating Christmas with them. I have a 4 year old son already who is super excited about "his babies". I feel fantastic other than some mild ankle swelling, however my belly is huge! I look like I did at 7 months with my son. My belly button has even started popping out. We have our anatomy scan on August 10th but we decided to have a reveal party with these two so I will not find out the gender until August 22nd. I have felt them wiggling a bit here and there but nothing too crazy yet. I'm very excited to find out if they are boys or girls. And on a funny note, I am truly amazed when I tell people I'm having identical twins how many people say "oh...maybe you will have one boy and one girl!" Ummmmmm no. Lol. Best of luck to all of you!
I am so jealous of you @Juliadowlingbrisbane! I wish I could feel them! Sometimes at night if I'm very still I think I feel them - but it's very light light flutters. I can't wait till I feel them l the time ! Just to know they are there and ok.
As of my last ultrasound the doc thinks we are having two boys. One for sure, the other he has trouble seeing since his legs were covering but he said 90% boy. I really wanted a boy and a girl but I'm ecstatic nonetheless! I love being able to know and start to talk to my boys!
Oh yeah, the doctor also told me that my baby B is 10% smaller than baby A.
Do you ladies have the same problem? I'm nervous. I'm still nauseous and headache, don't feel like eating much.
I am 17w 5days! Onions...think they could have found something better! I swear I felt my babies moving a few times now, even my husband has felt them. I can't wait until it's really big movements with hands and feet going everywhere.
I have an us Aug 10th too! We're going to find out the sexes then. At first I didn't want to know, but because my husband wanted to so badly I really want to know now too.
I've been eating less frequently and feeling less hungry, but probably eating the same calories overall. My nausea and vomiting has almost stopped completely which is so great! Smells still set me off though. I have been having nose bleeds too! In the morning mostly and some at night.
The last us the dr said my babies were 3days apart in size and that they can be up to 300g (10 ounces) different without any issues.
So glad we have such a great twins group! Thanks to everyone for sharing, I love seeing what everyone is up to!
Ladies talking about decreased appetite - same here. I crave food at about 4, but if I don't eat throughout the day I get nauseous. Somehow nothing looks good to eat. I craved a Big Mac yesterday (turns out baby didn't like it).
