I just had the worst time reading a thread about husbands getting turned off by the birth. Like never wanting to have sex ever again. That just seems a little dramatic to me considering the baby is a product of sex...
My husband doesn't like any kind of medical thing especially blood and while I have complete faith in him being totally supportive and doing whatever I need, I'm now terrified that he will think differently of me. This is not a normal thing for guys right??
My husband didn't realize that you have to wait 6 weeks after giving birth to have sex, (or that was when my doc ok-ed me) and by then he was begging for it!
I think typically guys see giving birth as getting a baby, not their wife/SO pushing a watermelon out her vag.
Mine feels the same!! He checked out the Dad's board here, but was disappointed that people don't post more frequently. He's been frequenting the subreddit "Predaddit" on Reddit instead. There's also a Dad's board that my DH moderates on the site Voat.

That's why I remind my SO about the watermelon thing on the reg.
He loves reddit so maybe I'll mention this to him. He definitely likes hearing about about TB stuff. I know he's genuinely interested because he asks questions.

Just recently had this chat with my hubby. His response was, "So then, blow jobs.".
I have a friend who's a SAHD, he follows this guy's blog: https://daddydoinwork.com/category/blog/ Might have some good info for dads in general (and probably with less gory details than our boards lol)
