  I don't know why I opened this, but I'm glad I did. Hehe. Oh but seriously guys, is it possible I don't even have a mucus plug?! I'm 38 weeks and haven't seen even little chunks of it yet!! )

  When I lost mine, I just made my own (I'm very crafty like that). I found directions on how to do it on Pinterest. It doesn't have the 3-prongs, but it gets the job done and keeps me from immediately going into labor like I would if my plug was just gone...

  At my doctors office today in the bathroom, was someone's mucus plug on a paper towel not crumbled up!!!!! I thought about delighting all of you lovelies with a picture and a super this is the twatwaffle of the rest of the tuesdays to come for eternity! Then I remembered, that's not a good idea at all!

  The trick is to power wash it first then treat it with an anti fungus and finally seal it with a weather proof stain. Duct tape should work too though, afterall, some people hold their cars together with duct tape, so why not?

  :-& I would lose it (pun intended;) )in the doctors office. But on the other hand, didn't the girl immediately give birth in the waiting room, you know since she lost her plug and all?

  I was scared to open this, but when I did and started reading I was laughing so hard I woke my DH, he asked what it was all about....but seriously use a wood plug, they work great, and you can add a waterproof stain such as hickory, mulberry, woodland ash or even maple! Heck add a small pull chain too for when you decide that labor should start, this eliminating the endless "am I in labor?" threads, just pull your,plug chain!

  They have instructions on Pinterest on how to help "stretch" things out. It helps with delivery too.
