Morning Sickness Already?

Yesterday I felt a little nauseous on and off throughout the day, but I thought it was because I had eaten such a huge dinner the night before. But today I've been feeling it pretty much constant since I ate lunch. I am only 4 weeks 4 days, and didn't think this would start till 6+ weeks ( according to my dirty lurking on the March '16 board). I think I might try to get some crackers and carbonated water to see if that helps during the day. Anybody else experiencing this yet and/or have any nausea remedies? I'm training this week at work, and have basically zero alone time...it makes it difficult when the nausea hits, yikes! :|

Re: Morning Sickness Already?

  • When I was pregnant with my first the only thing that helped was sipping on ginger ale throughout the day. But even with doing that, I had a horrible morning all day sickness. I wish you all the luck with finding something to help you with it.

  • I've actually been throwing up since before I got my positive test. I haven't found anything that works for me yet. I just try and sip water when I feel it coming on and that can help settle it a little.

Ah yes! I am in the same boat! I bought those preggie pops to try so we'll see if those help at all.
  • @kdueck where do you find the preggie pops?

At babies r us with all the lotions, they are sour candies that are supposed to help. I just tried one now and it seems to work, not sure how long the relief will last though

I have also been nausious since before I tested. Ginger ale and mints have been helping. Might try a sea sick bracelet

I carried pretzels around the first time. If I ate a few every once in awhile it helped a lot. Nothing else sounded good but if my tummy was empty I was sick. I was still super nauseous from weeks 7-12 though. Try crackers or something maybe!?

  • I had nausea all day every day for 5 months with my son and I found that eating small snacks all day helped. Plain crackers, rice cakes etc. in the morning I would eat a rice cake before I even got out of bed in the morning. It was always worse if my stomach was empty. Good luck :)
  • I am 4 weeks today and keeping getting queasy when hungry! I keep thinking it must be in my head but if I'm gonna make something up you'd think it would be more positive than nausea!! I'm hoping it doesn't mean it's just going to get much worse later!!
  • I believe I am around 4 weeks and symptoms have def already showed up. I've been extremely tired. I actually went to bed around 8 pm last night which is VERY early for me. Last night and the night before I got nauseous too so I guess I will be having night-sickness. Oh joy! LOL Oh and let's not forget about the crazy sore boobs. One of my best friends actually asked what was up with my boobs on Saturday (I didn't even know I was PG yet) because she said that they looked huge. I just thought it was my period coming at the time.

It's so weird because I've heard that 4 weeks is way too early for symptoms but apparently not. I guess everyone is different.
  • I had to keep a little bit of food in my stomach all the time in order to not be nauseous last time. I kept a box of graham crackers on my nightstand and ate one as soon as I woke up. Parmesan goldfish also helped. I am a teacher so I would eat a little snack during every passing time (once an hour) and that helped me make it through the work day.

  • My morning sick last time got worse when my stomach was empty. In the morning it's hard because you feel so nauseous you don't want to eat anything, but that's what will help. Stick with bland food like toast and then snack throughout the day. I literally ate pretzels and sipped water all day long last time and that really helped.
