for anyone who has had the joy of morning sickness: when did yours begin? In the comments, feel free to add whether it has been getting worse, if it's your first baby, etc.

It didn't start til 8 weeks with my first but it started at 6 weeks with this one.  Eeeesh.
  • It didn't start until
9-10 weeks with DD, but it hit between 5-6 weeks with this one. It's been one and off all day so far. I hope it doesn't get worse!

  • This is my first and it started around 5-6. I'm now in week 7 and on diclegis and a happy camper :-bd

  • Mine started at the exact 6 week mark, per the usual from what I've gathered from ours. Thrown up about 7 times, severe gagging, food adversions, and heartburn/indigestion. However, took unisom last night and slept throw the night for the first time since getting ill. For me it's all day on and off, but mostly on. I'm praying it subsides, feeling this ill has got me pretty down not only physically but emotionally & mentally. I didn't know what to expect at all.
  • This is my first and it started about 6w + 4d and has gotten so bad I'm getting sick after every meal (what little I can eat) and if I don't eat it's worse. Doctor made me come in today because I am losing weight and put me on diclegis, change my prenatal, and told me to start drinking boost or muscle milk.
  • Mine has been fairly mild, but I think it's starting to get worse. It use to just be slight nausea for an hour or so, but now I don't feel like eating anything and I carry a paper bag with me in the car just in case. I have to drive an hour for meetings this week and it's killing me to be in the car and nauseous.

  • Haven't had MS but I get queasy sometimes during the day and it passes if I drink or eat something sour or tart.
  • First pregnancy for me, 7 weeks frkm LMP but prolly only 4 from conception (based on ASC -actual sexual contact - with hubby :-P Definitely doing the MS thing. Maybe this is what gets me over my terror of the stomach virus... I've always been terrified to throw up, and I've done it 3 times in the last 8 days. Ugh. Usually it's the morning, and usually I'm fine if I take it easy. But this morning I decided to come read the forums here and put off taking a nibble of my graham cracker....bad idea apparently :-P

SS no morning sickness yet. I didn't have any with my last pregnancy either. I had other issues believe me but morning sickness wasn't one of them.
  • I've been losing weight from vomiting so much. My doctor is making me try the unisom/b6 combo. But that puts me right to sleep!! It does seem to control the nausea. I don't think there is any possibility that I can take that and go to work, though. Any suggestions?
  • 6w1d and no MS yet but I have been using the restroom 3-4 a day since Friday. Woke up at 3am today needing to go. :-<

  • Early in week 6 is when I noticed that I was feeling off my food. I haven't thrown up at all or anything, but I still feel fairly nauseous a few times a day.

  • I wouldn't really call it morning sickness, more like all day sickness! This is my second and last time I had no MS so I guess this is payback/karma?

Mine started 5-3 (yesterday) with a fury. Smelled the fish my husband was making and made a quick dash to the bathroom. Can't stand the smell of food at all right now.

  • MS has come with a vengeance! Started right on 6 weeks and hasn't let up. All day, up multiple times at night, and leaves me with no energy for the day.
  • 6 wks with this one, but 12 wks with my first!

    Anniversary

  • I'm 7w1d and no MS at all! Actually, any symptoms really besides feeling sleepy all the time. Hope stays like this!
  • I'm in week 7 and last week was so hard. I was nauseous constantly! Luckily I haven't been getting sick, just lots of gagging & heaving. :(
Now my problem is the other end!
I do force myself to eat a snack pretty much right before bed, and that has made the mornings a little better.

This is my second and it started early with this one. By 6 weeks full blown morning sickness. With my first it didn't get back until 8 weeks.

I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and crossing my fingers that I'm starting to feel better. Not needing my Unisom during the day this week, and seem to have quite a bit more energy.

  • I'm 6 weeks today and still haven't had any MS. I haven't had many symptoms at all really (besides bloating), which is making me a little nervous. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful, but it being my first pregnancy I don't know what normal and what's not.
