I Am So Confused on Baby Girl's Formula!

Hey moms! Okay so my sweet girl has had a rough first couple of months. We tried every formula under the sun and she was finally able to take Elecare. Well now, it's obvious that this is starting to upset her little tummy as well! She was super constipated and in a lot of pain before, and now she's pooping like 6 times a day and in obvious pain again! I have no idea what to do now. She has tried every formula you can think of. Her GI Specialist said she has MSPI but I don't understand why this formula is making her hurt again? Any mommas have some advice on what I should do?

    I'm kind of in the same situation, but my son is happier and not in as much pain as he was on nutramigen. But the poop.... oh the poop!! My son poops quite a but as well but it's very watery and mucousy.... how long has your daughter been on elecare? I'd say maybe try neocate, it's similar, but is known to cause constipation which is why we didn't use it and went with elecare. But, I know it's been fine for some people.

    I ask how long your daughters been on it bc it does take time to clear old stuff out of the intestines.... I so feel your pain... it's rough!

    Right! She's been on it for like almost two months. I mean she is just 3 months old but it was an immediate reaction when we tried on the others! As soon as she'd get done eating she would scream and it was just awful! But this one worked like a charm! It is just tearing her little stomach up even right now as I'm typing this. I just don't understand why this has worked for this long and now all of a sudden she can't handle it either? :(
