Progesterone and UTI?

So this is my first time doing the progesterone suppositories, been on them for about three weeks. And now this is my second UTI since starting them. I absolutely hate to take meds and now I feel like a pill popper with all these antibiotics :( does anyone else have this problem?? I wipe and clean up every morning because they are so messy but nothing seems to help

    The best thing I ever did for my UTI's was take cranberry pills everyday. I know that's just another pill (and they only prevent not treat UTI's) but.. An all natural preventative measure may be better than all the antibiotics. I would ask your doc if it is safe to take the cranberry pills while pregnant though. I have only taken them before I was.

    This exact scenario happened to me in March after my first IUI. I was using progesterone suppositories. I’ve never had a uti in my life and then had two back to back. I unfortunately lost my pregnancy at 8 weeks. We had our second IUI almost two weeks ago, again using progesterone. I am feeling a uti coming on once again. I want to discontinue the progesterone. I know progesterone is important but I am so worried about using antibiotics. I’m also feeling a bit of ptsd from my miscarriage in March with similar circumstances.
