OK so every year since we got married my husband and I have followed the gift chart… It's very fun and it is a good challenge and it keeps both of us on the same page but I am stumped for four!!!
For year one he got a paper gift certificate to his favorite brewery. Year two he received A gift box full of cotton items- some were puns and some were serious but they all had little love notes attached to them.. (Like a cotton scented candle with a note that said "thanks for keeping me warm") Year three I got him a monogrammed hand stamped leather key ring, a leather banded watch, and fruit leathers as a sweet treat and play on words
For part of my 4 year gift to my husband last year I made him a candy "bouquet" with fruity flavoured candies. He has quite the sweet tooth so he loved it! I got a Star Wars bucket to use as a vase. He got me a digital slr camera (as an appliance) so I can take good quality pictures of our baby.
Become a part of a local CSA program (community supported agriculture) and you can have seasonal fruit (and vegetables) for the next year without worrying about choosing the right ones at the grocery store while you're dealing with a newborn at home!
What about Fruit of the Loom underwear? ...I'll keep thinking.
I got my husband an oster smoothie blender last year and I think he uses it more than anything else in our kitchen. That could be a fun mash up, get him a smoothie blender and some fruit to make smoothies with.
what about those fruit baskets that are cut in shapes of flowers? Some are like dipped in chocolate and yummy stuff like that. Edible Arrangements is the company we have here.

@abbythebigdiehl beat me to it! I think it's the perfect blend of fruit and flowers.
I love those boxers and the edible arrangement idea! If you want something more lasting/tangible and wanted to do an appliance, are there any hobbies/projects he enjoys that an appliance is needed or helpful to complete?!
I like the fruit flowers idea, or chocolate covered fruit. Attend a painting class (or set it up at home) and do a painting of flowers together. Some kind of breakfast appliance or anything else would also be fun and you could make it into a date where you cook together. My husband got a panini press a couple months ago and loves it!
I feel like since "back to school" is happening I could probably find a great deal on a mini fridge and fill it with beer... And then do the candy Bouquet along with that? Thanks for all of the ideas ladies
Sooooo I think I found part of his gift just now... He works at a super serious engineering firm and last Christmas I got him a mug that says "coffee makes me poop" for his desk... I also think his desk now needs this :P
Re: HELP! Year 4 anniversary gift
But damned if I wouldn't want a new fridge! Lol
I'm a dork actually kind of enjoy grocery shopping ;-)
