Beta levels low

I got a call from my doctor saying my beta levels are lower than expected. Didn't say how much lower. Right around when my period was due I had very light spotting for 5 days. I have no symptoms of feeling pregnant and really just don't feel pregnant at all. This whole time I had this gut feeling something was wrong or off. :( I'm so sad. I go for blood work tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated.

    I am sorry to hear that. I have done a lot of research on this topic and it really depends on the individual woman. I have read that double is not actually the goal, its more like anything over 60%. 

    Remember, ultrasound trumps blood work. If it still doesn't look good after this draw they will for sure set you up with an US.

    I am 8w1d and have had very low beta levels. Was put on crinone 2x a day. Have had two US and heard the heartbeat and baby measured accurately each time. I'm still not out of the woods (also had a mc in April) but am crossing my fingers and saying my prayers!! Good luck.
