  I had one done with my baby girl. I'm glad we did, she was always shy to show her lady parts in every ultrasound. We would of had to be team green (not our choice) if it wasn't for varify. I hope my new insurance provider covers the test this time around.

  We had panorma done with our last pregnancy. Since I'm over 30 my doctor suggested it, and it was pretty reasonable (I think $100 out of pocket for us), so we did it. It screened for trisomy and other genetic abnormalities.. knowing the gender early was an added bonus

  Insurance will only cover this test if the NT scan at 12 weeks shows up anything of concern. I would have liked to get the blood test done instead but guess we'll be sticking to the traditional route of NT scan and then finding out the sex at the 20 week anatomy scan.
