Midwife Gift ideas

I'm trying to find something special for my midwife who is also my sister in law...I've seen a few things on Pinterest but they don't seem special enough...would love any thoughts from you wonderful ladies

    The money you pay her;) I know it's your sister-in law, so that may be different, but they deliver hundreds of babies so don't make the gift baby specific. I say that as I am an adoption attorney and when people give me gifts with their kids names or faces, it goes into a drawer and eventually the garbage. Something monogrammed with her name could be nice, like a pen or stethoscope, a gift basket, bracelet, something for her hobby or a nice card. Good luck! I find it's the thought that counts.

    I don't know about something specifically for a midwife, but as a teacher some of my favorite gifts I've received have been gift certificates for pedicures or massages.
