Basically just looking for some real experience with people using Preseed. Debating on trying. Have had 2 miscarriages and just got the green light from the OB to try again sooooo here I am.
This question has been asked a few times here. The search feature actually works pretty well.
I've never used it, but from what I understand, it's just a sperm friendly lubricant, but may also help if you don't have much EWCM. TCOYF recommends it. It's kind of expensive for a lube, but it's nice to have an option.
I am so sorry for your loss! We just started using it, it was pretty pricy for a lube but just feels overall better to use. I've been satisfied with the quality!

This. Helps to aid in conception if you don't experience fertile CM but will not help in any way once you are pregnant.

I purchased some pre seed off of amazon a couple of months ago (it's a little cheaper) and I love it. It is a little expensive though. We don't use as much as the box calls for, because in my opinion that is WAY too much. I just put a bit on my finger and apply it that way. Works for me.
Me: 31
DH: 29, SA - Great
Married: June 12,2011
TTC #1: 1/2014
Diagnosis: Hypothalamic Amenorrhea
Treatment: Clomid: 50mg, 100mg, 150mg - not successful and not monitored
We use it and it works great. I don't use it how the box says with the applicators tho, it's way too much and messy. I just use it like I would regular lube. I only use it during the times when conceiving are a possibility tho because of how expensive it is.
We use it and it's just meh. I tend to be pretty dry so lube is a must. We don't use the applicators or how much the instructions suggest to use--as other posters said, that's just way too much. But you still need to use enough. It can dry out pretty quickly if you don't use enough.
So it's not our favorite lube, but it gets the job done.
We use it but we just use it like regular lube, not with the directions on the box. I tried it that way twice and it was just way too much. I tend to be pretty dry so it's a must for us. Like others have said it's a little pricy so we limit its use during my FW and then use cheaper options the rest of the time.
So sorry for your losses. I had a miscarriage back in December and am going to start TTC next cycle. I'm gunna try the Preseed too and OPKs, I've read some pretty great reviews on the Preseed but it is a little pricey. Sorry I don't have any info but I'm in the same boat as you so good luck and baby dust!!
We have used it twice now since I am ovulating. So far I like it. Like some have said not using too much. Thanks for the posts. And thank you eem1031. Good luck to you (and the other part that we aren't "allowed" to say in this forum)
eem1031 Like I said I've had 2 losses as well and that term reminds me that I'm not alone and someone else is going through this too and that we wish each other well. So thanks because it always puts a little smile on my face.

It is acceptable in other TTC websites, groups and blogs. Not on TheBump though, that is all she is saying. The term that is used here is "rainbow baby". Like "I hope your stay is short and you get your rainbow baby".
I used it the first time around when we were trying and got our BFP on our first cycle. I don't know if it had anything to do with making it "easier" to get pregnant, but we are using it this time around as well.....can't hurt! But it is pricey, so we only use it during baby making time:)
I've seen it in other forums on the bump. Its a "good luck" thing. I understand it can be offensive to some but like I said it makes me smile and this is a post I started. All terms can be offensive to some one in some way you never know how what is said can effect someone who's went through a loss.
That is why we tried it the "can't hurt" logic lol. But same here with the pricing. Not a all the time use.
@AprilV421 please search this thread for a post/poll titled "baby dust". You will see why we ask that the term not be used out of respect for the bumpies who are offended by it.

Bottom line: It was a simple suggestion alerting pp to the fact that we do not like that term here. If you want to be part of this community, then respect how we feel about it and don't use the term. If not, there are plenty of other communities out there, good luck.
I'm sorry some are misunderstanding. I'm not arguing, discussing, or debating anything with anyone. I don't like the term rainbow baby because it sounds like my first two pregnancies weren't beautiful miracles.. And they were. Just didn't work out. And someone said baby dust to ME.. I am not offended by it I like it it made me smile. If someone says that to someone who is offended that person can let them know then. If everyone stopped intervening these forums wouldn't have problems. If I see something in a post I don't like I get out of it and go to another because nothing was pointing to me personally. No need for other posts on this because I got my preseed and I will not get into a huge debate. Baby dust to those who want it, rainbow baby to those who want it, and good luck to everyone else who doesnt like either term.

So, you have been told (very nicely, I might add) that we don't use that phrase here and yet you continue to use it?

You clearly didn't search for that terrible poll as you were advised. You are coming into an already established community and completely ignoring the norms therein. Do you expect to get a positive response?

My heart literally broke reading that thread...To the person that said it makes them smile...if that term brings a smile to your face, then good for you, but you'll have to get your smiles elsewhere. Just because you had a loss, (which I am very sorry you had to experience that...honestly ) it doesn't mean that you alone have the right to decide it is not offensive. This community has decided and we don't use it here PERIOD. END OF STORY. Get on board or go elsewhere.
This was my first month trying. We've been trying 7 months. I really like it. DH didn't just because of the smell. We've tried other lubes before we were trying and he didn't care for them either. He's very vanilla. I've never had an organism. I feel if he would try/do more things it might help.

I used preseed and got pregnant with my lo the first time I used it. I used it like a reg lube ( I didn't use the applicator). I then gave the tube toy friend who had had a miscarriage back in November and was struggling getting pregnant. She just announced she is pregnant ( again only used it once and without applicator). So we both had very positive results using it. I would highly recommend it
Dogmomwantinghuman - havent paid attention to the smell. But so far I have liked it too, DH seems indifferent to it. MLC32387 yea we haven't used the applicator either. So I am glad to hear it works just as well using it as a normal lube! And congratulations to you and your friend!! That is wonderful!
Both times I got pregnant before I didn't use it either. But when you need to use a lube this is one that doesn't stop sperm. That's why I wanted feedback on it to make sure it does what it is marketed to do. And that it isn't going to prolong getting pregnant again.
