Back pain?

I was induced with my first and never had any pain in my back with contractions. For those that have experienced back pain during labor, did it come and go with contractions or was it more constant?

I'm dealing with it now. In my case, it's constant pain that gets worse and bends me over when I have a contraction. My contractions start as a stabbing pain in my back, then "crawl" around to my lower abdomen and feel like a horrible cramp that is searing my c-section scar. I pray yours are not this bad!!!

I am sorry you are dealing with it @chavemann10. Feeling contractions here but they are so irregular. My back is killing me though. I have back issues anyway but this just seems different. I guess I thought if I was going to feel pain in the back with contractions it would come and go with the contraction but maybe not? DH told me today he didn't think I would go past Tuesday, maybe he was right?

I know every person has a different experience, but mine is pretty constant, and gets worse during contractions.

Mine was only severe with the contractions. It was there for a week though before I went into labor.

Severe only during contractions at first but it made for a sore back consistently by the end of labor. I did a lot of standing with hip squeezes during labor
